Product Description
Myxer enables any Website to immediately deliver existing videos, images and audio files to mobile devices. All content on a page is dynamically converted into mobile products like ringtones, full-track songs and video clips, and is immediately available from either the originating Website, a dynamically-generated mobile web site or via SMS. It may optionally be included in the catalog of MyxerTones.com, which delivers over six million items a month to an audience of over two million mobile users.
Market Opportunity
According to Gartner, global mobile music revenues will top $13.7 billion this year and $32 billion by 2010. Independent music alone delivered to mobile devices is projected to be $5 billion in 2010. Worldwide mobile music phone sales will reach 618 million units in 2007, and one billion by 2010.
Demo Says
While we’ve seen dozens of solutions for mobilizing Web content, the movement over the next 12 months will be driving that capability into the long, long tail of MySpace sites, personal blogs, and other individual Web sites - exactly the people who can’t afford and can’t manage complex technical implementations.
